Location: Remote first in Germany — but ideally you are based not too far from Frankfurt (to have regular office catchups with the team there)

Who are we?

Oska Health is a leading digital-health company with offices in Germany (Frankfurt central) and the UK (London Shoreditch). We help people living with chronic cardiometabolic and kidney disease — type 2 diabetes, hypertension, CKD and the cluster of conditions around them — change their daily health behaviours and reduce their long-term risk. We work with 25+ health insurances in Germany, raised a €11m round beginning of the year and have a strongly growing team of 50+ employees.

Our senior product and engineering people come from ustwo and Bulb Energy, alongside clinicians and health-tech specialists with decades of field experience. We're a small team. We ship. We treat design and research as how the product actually gets built — not as a service function that decorates someone else's spec.

The role

You'll own the end-to-end experience across our patient app, our health-coach internal tooling, and our ops workflows. You'll be one of the first designers at Oska, which means you'll help define how design and research work here — not inherit a process.

We work hands-on and closely together between design, development, product and our stakeholders.

We’ve shifted our workflow to a lot of AI tooling and try to iterate together with our users quickly to learn what works in real life. However, tools are just a way of making us faster - it’s the outcome for users and their experience as much as the outcome for the business that needs to drive your decision making.

You are a native German speaker. You'll plan and run user research and usability testing directly with German-speaking patients, nurses and GPs across dialects and regions. You'll synthesise what you learn without anything getting lost in translation, and you'll move that insight into product direction without it passing through an intermediary. You also speak and write English at a very high level — our product team operates in English.
